So you can easily pop it on and off as you get in and out of the tub. It was a small detail that I decided on well before I went into labor. It felt perfect for me, as much as everyone says that modestly leaves you I knew it wouldn't be the case for me. Then they made me take the skirt off. My sort of silly question is-- what did you wear while doing that? In TV and the movies, because real life childbirth is always JUST like the movies, I usually see women with what looks like a sports bra on top and then you never see anything below the belly. </p> <p>So, did you wear a gown or robe while you were out then strip to just a sports bra or nursing bra in the tub, nothing on bottom? Or, something else? I know lots of people say all modesty goes away during birth, so I believe you, but I want to bring whatever will make it most comfortable. </p> <p>And yes, I do realize that once I'm in active labor my wardrobe will probably be the least of my concerns! </p>
