I wasn't sure if you knew lululemon or not and I didn't want to sound like a snob and explain the store to you. It's like work out gear and they are kind of like work out shorts. Breathable, meshy type fabrics. I honestly don't think they've become popular with most guys, but DH loves to be comfortable and cool (he runs really hot normally) and he enjoys them for casual wear. He's a fitness trainer so I guess he kinda likes all that fitness-y type clothing! They're nicer than just draw string type shorts.
