I really would like to avoid a February/March/early April baby due to his 80+ hour work weeks coming up to the tax deadline. It worked well with certain long-term projects I have at work and plus I already have all the winter maternity clothes! That means we would start TTC next May/June. DH wants to wait until end of next summer to try but we are both pretty much game to start trying after DD1s first bday. School was just starting and I hadn't made new friends in my class yet, and my old friends from the year before were in different classes now, so the friends I invited to my birthday party were all confusing and then I was sad at the end of the year that my new friends didn't get to come to my birthday party. I had the bulk of my pressing projects wrapped up and I was able to take 14 weeks off going back to work on 1/6 and still got some pay because of paid holidays. It did suck to be super pregnant through the summer but i was able to get a way with simple jersey dresses and fold over linen pants. I wouldn't want to be super pregnant in Jan/Feb due to the ice and snow, I would be so afraid i would slip and fall plus having to buy a maternity coat. For baby #2 i would love to have a baby in may-june-july. I would love to have a spring baby next but that puts us ttc when she is just shy of 1 or 2 and ideally I would rather it be between those two ages. If we conceived when she is 18 months it puts us in January so maybe we will aim to wait until she is 18 months and then just see what happens. My husband is all about close together babies though so who knows. </p>
