But looking back I think labor had started on Sunday, I just didn't know it. I was super uncomfortable and my back hurt like crazy. But very few people (I think something like 11%) have labor start with their water breaking. Most people start off with mild contractions that get more intense and close together over time. So my thinking is that even if labor starts at work I'll have time to calmly excuse myself and head home (or straight to the hospital) without creating a scene.
