Gap has some fold over yoga pants that are looser. My LO loves them. Only grey and black though.

@Mrsbells: thanks -- I'll have to see where the nearest Kohl's is, and if it's not too far, we'll go check them out.

@KT326: good call, looks like Old Navy has some loose jersey pants that might work. Sorry you have to deal with this too...my DD does squats and lunges as soon as she puts her pants on, and if they impede movement in any way, declares that she won't wear them. I don't know why all toddler girl pants have to be skintight!

Luckily my 3 year old will still wear leggings, but she refuses all pants with any structure at all (like soft jeans). so I feel your pain.

Or she wants to wear cable knit tights when it's 85 degrees out.

Could you try some knit pants from the boys section? They are usually a more relaxed fit. Of course they don't have as many colors as the girls section but maybe just until she gets used to wearing pants again? (I have a 4 year old son that hates wearing anything remotely form fitting so I know what you are going through!)

DD has suddenly decided that all her leggings and pants are "too tight." I think she got used to wearing skirts and dresses over the summer and, now that the weather is cooler, she's having a hard time readjusting. Does anyone have recommendations for some super soft, loose pants for toddlers? Most of the knit pants I see are leggings or skinny pants, and jeans aren't soft and comfy enough for her. Gap has some joggers I might check out when I have a chance to get there (no point in ordering online because that practically guarantees she won't like them) but I haven't really found anything else. Having a threenager is going to kill me, I think...
