&#60;p&#62;@oliviaoblivia:  I was thinking maybe crocs would be soft enough? They do have a shaped foot bed, which I'm not crazy about, but would still be pretty flexible....she does wear bogs when it's rainy or muddy out.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I prefer that our daughter wear soft soled shoes for now.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;However, we plan to go to Maine this summer and will be spending most of our time on a very rocky beach. I'm not worried about the rocks hurting her feet through the leather but I am concerned about them getting wet! She can't go barefoot, which is what I will do on sandy beaches...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;If you use soft soled shoes what do you do for water situations?
