I had this problem with L, but thankfully she's moving into a 5 now and we should be good for fall. She lived in Old Navy jellies this summer...if Sadie is a 4, I bet she could wear a 5 from ON. Not sure what styles they have in stock, but I imagine they will have fall boots! (and for cheap!) I don't like that the sole of Robeez gets nasty really easily, but they do make cute shoes in small sizes. And it's not as big of a deal once they're old enough to not put shoes in their mouths. :)

We hadn't problems unless the ground was wet. They didn't get ruined ( our robeez were suede On the bottom).

Oh, J had some super cute boots from Target too and they held up really well outside even though they were completely soft sole bottoms.

We had no problem with Robeez outside! Have you looked at pediped and see Kai run? Livie and Luca?

Would you be open to cowgirl boots? ;-) I live in TX so those are ok year round...lol. Squeakers makes super cute boots that are quite flexible but have a sole to them. Not sure what other styles besides cowboy boots they have, but may be worth looking them up.

I'm trying to do some fall shopping, and I'm having a hard time finding boots in Sadie's size that aren't soft soled. She's in a 3-4, and it seems like most brands don't add a sole until at least size 5. She's nowhere near a 5. :meh:

I loved a pair of boots at Old Navy, so I tried the 5 on her today just to see, and no dice. I could fit a golf ball in front of her toes. I just want some cute, hard-sole fall boots!

Has anyone had this problem? Did you just put your toddler in soft soled shoes?

Also, I'm looking at these boots. They're soft soled, but not sure. Don't want the bottoms to get ruined right away. What do you think?
