When LO was first starting to crawl it really helped to keep her from tripping over the mat edge. We still put them together once and a while, even though LO doesn't need the protection from the floor anymore--they have some extended utility. Do you think I need to get the borders as well? Any thoughts from mamas who have these? I kind of wish we had a bigger space since some of the designs are so cute! </p>
