He writes in Ruby on Rails on a Mac currently. He says it mostly depends on what language you're trying to write in. Ruby is much easier to do on a Mac whereas .NET is easier on Windows. Not that you can't do it on different machines. I think that it's honestly easier to get work in the windows development world than the Mac one, unless you're into writing apps, or looking to build solely for web.
