Does daycare have set times that they give him bottles? Does he ever take more than 4 oz at a time? R takes 5-6 oz bottles when I'm away (it's infrequent when I'm gone but she nurses about 4 times during the day so that would be how many bottles I leave)

I would try varying bottle quantities to see what worked. Maybe 2 larger bottles, or dropping the last bottle to 3 oz.

So L is almost 9 months old and really loves his solids. For the past few weeks, I'm still sending 3 4 oz bottles to daycare even though I'm only pumping 8 oz during the day at work. Some days he drinks all of his bottles, other days he doesn't. It's not consistent yet.

So I guess my question is - how do I know when he's ready to drop a bottle at daycare?
