Similar to you, I just make sure I already know what I'm feeding them for dinner/have all the ingredients so I don't have to take them both grocery shopping. We already do baths together so it's pretty much routine. Now, not sure what I will do with LO3 joins us, though...!

DH recently had the past 3 mornings by himself. We usually get the kids ready together and he drops them off at school, but this time, he had to do it solo since I had to be at work super early. I laid out their clothes/cubby stuff the night before and made sure DH's own work clothes were ironed/ready (he usually irons them himself each morning). I also prepped mini muffins and bagels for breakfast so it would be quick and portable (they also get a second breakfast at daycare). It went well!!

For those that know they have a solo parenting night coming up and aren't used to it, what do you do to prepare? Tonight DH has a basketball game to attend, so that means I'm doing it all by myself with both girls. Not a big deal, I do this a lot, but I like to prepare an easy supper (in crockpot) so it cuts down on my kitchen time and allows me to play with the girls more (usually DH does this when I'm cooking.) I also do double baths so I'm not concerned with what the other child is doing when one is in the bath! Usually I give them separate baths so they can play and splash easier.
