It sounds like mastitis to me. Maybe your dh can pick it up on his way home. We do screen time. ..movies and Disney junior on demand if we need to entertain the toddler. Unfortunately it only keeps her entertained for 30 minutes to an hour. She just wants to run around so we let her run around the house or up and down the hall...jump on the bed. DH absolutely has to be at work today for a huge meeting. I have a 5 week old and a 23 month old, who's already going a little bit stir crazy - we've been almost endlessly inside avoiding germs because of the newborn and avoiding frostbite because DUDE it's 4 degrees outside.</p> <p>Anyway, I have mastitis, thrush, or something... a super painful breast, chills, just feeling like I have the flu. I'm trying to nurse through it and just taking the Rx ibuprofen I have leftover from L&amp;D. I've sequestered all of us in my bedroom with PBS and Peppa Pig on the DVR, lots of toys and books for the toddler, and cereal, water, and coffee for me (newborn was also up every 2 hours overnight, which I guess is good for draining the breast but OMG can a person die from sleep deprivation?)</p> <p>Any tips for lasting the day? I'm worried :( </p>
