I'm a reluctant SAHM and when I read things like this it helps give me perspective. It also helps prep me mentally for whenever I do go back to work, which is hopefully soon. Yes, yes, yes. LMW is getting to the point where she reaches for me. I hate holding her in the mornings because I don't want to let go. :( She loves her nanny and she's fine going back to her but it just breaks my heart!!</p> <p>But of course I was a SAHM and I know I'm happier this way. This morning, it was not. We were lazy and took our time getting up. I changed my lo, took her downstairs and set her up with some toys while I logged into my computer. She played, laughed and had a good time while I got some work done. I love listening to her laugh (and scream) when playing. We left for work late because daycare opened late. When we got there, it was so hard to say goodbye. I think it was because we had such a good time this morning, I didn't want to leave her. I wanted to stay all morning and play. </p> <p>Today it was hard to say goodbye. Do you have days like this when it's just so hard to say goodbye? </p>
