DH prefers it behind the passenger (he's 6'3-6'4) but he *could* drive with it behind him. It's my car primarily but since we only have one car seat at the moment, I just put it on the pass side so he's more comfortable driving. It's not all that big in my opinion. Initially we had it behind the passenger seat but it is so tall that it was sort of blocking my blind spot!! So that is the only thing I'd be not sure about with two. </p> <p>Having said that I love my Foonf! I'll probably lose an inch or two on my side at that point. Not my favorite (my legs are long) but i'll manage. If we had a much larger SUV, like you do, it would surely be a NON issue! </p> <p>DH has a Ford Escape and I can't stretch out in the passenger seat as much as I like but I'm not resting my head on my knees, either. I think you guys will be fine! It has to go behind the passenger seat because if it was behind the driver's seat, Hubs wouldn't be able to drive the car. He's 6'0". One of them will have to be behind a front seat. Does anyone here have more than one Foonf rear-facing in the same row? </p>
