We have the foonf rear facing in a 2015 toyota highlander. DH prefers it behind the passenger (he's 6'3-6'4) but he *could* drive with it behind him. It's my car primarily but since we only have one car seat at the moment, I just put it on the pass side so he's more comfortable driving. It's not all that big in my opinion. I had it rear facing behind me in a ford escape no problem (I'm roughly 5'2-5'3).

@oliviaoblivia: Do you have a foonf too? Looking for another option for when DD outgrows the FF limit on the combo coccorro we have as our secondary seat (it's only 40")

We have a suburu outback, and the foonf is behind the passenger seat. There is plenty of room for even my tall husband to sit there. I think you'd be fine.

@twodoghouse: we have the Clek Foonf RF behind the driver seat in our Mitsubishi Outlander and there is still tons of leg room. Initially we had it behind the passenger seat but it is so tall that it was sort of blocking my blind spot!! So that is the only thing I'd be not sure about with two.

Having said that I love my Foonf! Super comfy for DS, super easy to get a tight install.

We will have two rear facing in about 8 months, which doesn't help you now :) But I have a Honda CRV and E's clek is on the passenger side. I'll probably lose an inch or two on my side at that point. Not my favorite (my legs are long) but i'll manage. If we had a much larger SUV, like you do, it would surely be a NON issue!

DH has a Ford Escape and I can't stretch out in the passenger seat as much as I like but I'm not resting my head on my knees, either. I think you guys will be fine! DH and I are almost 6 feet tall

I can take a photo of my backseat if you'd like in about 90 min when I leave the office

We have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and my husband is 6'2" - we couldn't put the Foonf on the drivers side - frankly, I'm only 5'2" and Im kind of squished with it on the passenger side. But Jeeps have notoriously small back seats...

@twodoghouse: Yes, Hubs can sit in the passenger seat because he doesn't need to be a certain distance from the pedals or anything. But it's a little cramped for him.

We have an Accord and her seat was behind the passenger seat. I had to move it up a bit (DH does all the driving on the weekend) but I still had plenty of room up front.

@littlebug: Are you still able to have a passenger in the passenger seat with the seat behind it? DH and I are both short so that is an advantage here, at least!

@Anagram: Thanks! That's definitely reassuring. I think in as big of car as we have pretty much anythingn should fit, but I'm nervous since buying two is an astronomical purchase! We don't have a store in the area that sells Clek so we can't go try them. At least not until our next visit to Chicago and Blake is getting too tall too fast!

We have a Rogue, and it does limit the front-to-back space. It has to go behind the passenger seat because if it was behind the driver's seat, Hubs wouldn't be able to drive the car. He's 6'0". I think a Q7 is bigger than a Rogue, though, so you might be ok?

@twodoghouse: We have a foonf in a Honda Accord. I was actually fairly set on a Radian, but when I went to buy Buy baby and tried them in my car, the Foonf fit better and took up less space front-to-back (so the front passenger seat doesn't have to be pushed up at all).

The radian didn't fit as well--I know you can buy an angle adjuster but they were sold out online and said they wouldn't be restocked for a couple of months and we needed a convertible ASAP, so I just went with the foonf.

What size car is your Foonf in? We have a large SUV (Audi Q7), but I'm concerned about the space the Foonf will take up front to back while rear-facing. I have twins so I can't just put the seat in the middle. One of them will have to be behind a front seat. Does anyone here have more than one Foonf rear-facing in the same row?
