He thinks I'm a pretty tough gal and can do without it even though I've already mentioned to the OB up front I'm all for the epidural (I'm deathly afraid of feeling the pain from tearing, etc.). So I was happy that the hubby thought I am THAT strong of a woman. He built my flatpack baby wardrobe on Friday evening, painted the fire surround on Saturday then came to Ikea with me on Sunday! Then Sunday afternoon, he fitted our new drawers into our wardrobe system and framed some pictures for the nursery before taking his yukky medication and going to bed for the rest of the day. He always helps whenever I want or need it, and he helps tons around the house (he does pretty much all of the dishes, sweeps... whatever needs doing) so that I can focus more on the kids, which I prefer anyway. He took Lorelei on her first bobcat and tractor ride and they got to clean up branches in the yard from a recent storm. Then today he took Ellie out scouting with him looking at our drainage tile to make sure the fields are draining. She had so much fun spending time with him! Then tonight he and Ellie and I got to play dominos together.
