@brownie: I was going to suggest the same thing. My LO fussed and spit up a lot until we figured out she was allergic to dairy, soy, and eggs. Caffeine also got her so wired she couldn't sleep for hours.

How old is she? Have you looked at her and your diet? I know that for me, he was having reactions to dairy and soy and without it he is almost a perfect baby.

Also, people don't like parents who do nothing. As long as you are trying let people think what they want. The only people I get upset with are those that let thier kids run wild and don't even tell them to stop.

I think the first year is just about survival! I read on a blog somewhere and it's so true: just don't kill the baby.

You sound like an awesome mom, and so I'm sure that barring medical issues, your daughter will get less fussy over time. Then things should get much more enjoyable!!

No, you are not crazy! But can someone please help me with this too? I was in a bad mood all weekend and I am worried my negative energy rubs off on her. But then again, we are all human and I think it is also another problem if we pretend to be happy in front of them all the time.

My daughter is very fussy and she makes going out a huge ordeal. Because of how fussy she is, I tend to stay home a lot and get very stressed about venturing out. When we DO go out, she cries and cries and I feel peoples' eyes staring at me wondering why my baby is crying bloody murder.

I'm afraid that this behaviour is going to turn my daughter into a scaredy-cat or a kid who doesn't like to try anything.

At what age do you think babies/kids start to pick up on their parents' actions/behaviours? Am I crazy?
