Sometimes when I put her down for a nap, she gets right back up and makes a lap around the perimeter of her crib and I'm in my room coaxing her through the monitor, "Come on, sweetheart, you're so tired...Just lay down and go to sleep." You can self-soothe yourself back to sleep!!"</p> <p>And then sure enough, she did it... and wow, it was like someone sunk a three pointer right at the buzzer. Adrenaline floods the system and you're cheering for the victory... until you realize that you're all alone and watching a b&amp;w screen about the size of a cell phone. And not the new smartphones, but more like the old dumb phones. Then you feel kinda dumb.</p> <p>Or maybe that's just me. Anyone else get ridiculously excited or devastated watching your LO on the video monitor? </p>
