I'm new to these this cycle. I've had 5 days now of flashing smilies. I know I don't usually o until later so it hasn't been a huge help for me so far. I think it is probably good for women who don't temp and don't know their fertility signs because it would give them a better window. I think most of us watch cm so we know when we should be bd'ing. I'm glad I tried them to see but not sure they are worth it for me.

@niellyrae: I normally had 35 day cycles and I ovulated on cd 26 last time!!! You just need time to figure out your body. I'm a fan of the cheapie wondfo ovulation tests, then you can test multiple times a day so you don't miss your surge.

Since you have long cycles you might not be ovulating until day 20 or later.

I've not used those OPKs but if you have long cycles, you won't be ovulating at CD14, so you won't be getting the smileys that early. You will probably be looking at a O day of CD20 or later (because you ovulate around 14 days before AF, not CD14). Just treat this cycle as a test and keep using the OPKs until something shows up.

I'm going on 26 and my boyfriend and I are are ttc #1....Been trying since 5/14 ...I have a 34-36 day cycle. Have been doing BD every other day and nothing.... Finally I bought a CBEA OPK and it said for me to start testing on CD 14. Today was my 4th day testing CD 18 and still have not gotten a flashing smiley or solid smiley just 4 blanks in a row....I'm starting to get really discouraged, is the 4 days in a row of a blank smiley normal?
