I'm at almost 26 pregnant with twins and yesterday I struggled with a sore spot but right under my belly. I thought my maternity pants were getting too tight but when I changed into looser shorts, I noticed I still had the soreness. Today, I'm trying a maternity support band to see if helps.

This happened to me at 37 weeks. Called my midwives and they made me go in to be monitored for the day and have some testing done. Apparently one of the signs of pre-e is pain in a specific spot on the belly (lower right side, I think?). Anyway, it ended up being a sore spot from baby favoring that side!

@paigeface: yup!! I was at the doctors yesterday and she touched the sore spot right away! Ouch! I'm 29 weeks and there is one spot where the baby always kicks/pushes against and the doc said it happens often, we get a little bruised on the inside basically in the spots they 'favor'!

Yep I had that in my last pregnancy. Silly girl beating mommy up from the inside. It had worried me because my placenta was located somewhere on top, but I was assured it was just a bruise and all was fine.

Morning ladies,

I have one spot to the right of my belly button that has been sore the last couple days. Feels like a little bruise almost! I read that the baby can give you a little bruise from kicking in the same spot and he does LOVE that spot. Anyone else have this happen to them?
