My recommendation on snowboots is actually LLBean. Their products are great and have lifetime warranty. Anything happens to them, even 20 years later, you can return them for a new pair. They are heavy and clunky but they do keep my feet warm and dry, which is what I wanted. They are maybe a bit heavy but I had a pair of North Face boots before that were much clunkier so I think I'm used to it. I have a pair of Keen's that I love, but my foot grew after pregnancy. I ended up buying boots from Costco (they were cheap and light) but I overestimated on the fit (they're too big). They are alot more lightweight than some of the other Sorels, but they are also not as warm as a result. I don't really wear them anymore except when I am shoveling snow or something since I don't mind if they get dirty.</p> <p>My favorite boots are my Ugg Adirondacks. They are shorter but they are the warmest boots I've ever had. They are pretty lightweight and not bad in icy conditions. Plus they are comfy and feel like walking in sneakers. I'm debating getting a pair of the tall version.
