After the one-year mark, I really wanted DH to know about stuff because I didn't want to feel the urgency of having to BD on a certain day when DH comes home from work pretty late and is often very tired. This made me feel like I alone was responsible for getting us pregnant and I hated it.</p> <p>Fortunately and unfortunately, DH became much more involved once we started seeing an RE. Once he realized that there was a LOT to know, he wanted to know it. And now he knows everything! He is crazy interested in my temps, asks me about my OPKs, everything. He listened when I explained things and asked questions. He never made me feel like I was being too intense; after all, he wanted a baby, too! And I think he was genuinely curious about how it all works. I think it helped that he knew I had endo and things *could* be problematic for us, so he didn't just blow it all off like, "oh it'll be fine, chill, honey". He took it seriously. </p> <p>Once i overheard him "correct" one of his friends about something and he jokingly said, "No i'm not an expert in the female reproductive system, but unlike you, I listen to my wife when she talks!" I dont tell him all my symptoms, or where I am in my cycle...or even if i get a + opk. he doesn't want it to be a source of stress for either of us, and at least for the first few months, this works.
