We stayed at a resort that was condos with full kitchens and bedrooms. I’ll look and see what it was called because it would be nice for kids.<br /> ETA: it was called Sundial Resort. </p> <p>We actually are going to Miami next week with our 3.5yo and I’m surprised people are saying it’s not kid friendly. I mean yeah, it will have partiers. But we’ll be in bed well before that :silly: A lot of the resorts in Miami cater to families - Fontaine Bleu has a kids club and like 8 pools with at least a few as kids pools. Loews motto is “Loews Loves Kids” as they have a kids club and programming. Both have babysitting services.<br /> Lincoln Road has lots of restaurants with outdoor seating and, again, we’ll be going at 5pm/5:30 so it will still be fairly tame.<br /> We’ve been many times so we know what to expect in general - this will be our first time with kids but since we are familiar we are confident it will be perfect for us and what we are going for (good food, pool, kids activities). I don’t know, maybe because we’re in Manhattan so we’re used to a “lively” atmosphere. </p> <p>Another option is Boca Beach Club. We went last feb when our son was 2.5 and it was perfection. Gorgeous property and rooms, food is spot on, a zero entry kids pool, full service on the beach with kids toys, a kids club (just have to be potty trained for drop off) and babysitting services - babysitter put him to bed and sat in our room (attached) and we went to two dinners. Seriously best trip we’ve taken as a family. If you’re specifically looking for Sourh Florida you should rule that airport out. It’s on our list!<br /> Ft Lauderdale too!</p> <p>Also, check to make sure Zika is under control in Miami. I don’t care for Miami and the vibe that’s there! But everyone is different. Sarasota is nice too and the Ritz Carlton is amazing there! Family fun- you have to take a cab or private car to the beach( Siesta Keys) and a private hotel shuttle to the hotels beach. I'm looking for ideas. I really, really need to kick back and relax. I'm thinking I'd like to rent a cabana for the day, hopefully a kids club for the older and/or a babysitting service for the baby. Some good food on-site for ultimate laziness. Proximity to the beach preferable. Walk to outdoor dining preferred. Give me recommendations! I'm going crazy trying to research it; I've never been. </p>
