I'm dreading full on summer! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/southern-bees#post-840357 Fri, 07 Jun 2013 14:58:53 +0000 lemondrop 840357@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>We both melt in the heat too, one thing I do if we go outside is load up a spray bottle with water and we both get liberally misted frequently!</p> <p>I know W is a little bit ahead with walking, but C is just happy to walk anywhere, I let him pick the direction and we exploring. </p> <p>I made a list of local things to do and keep it taped to the door:<br /> -aquarium<br /> -children's museum, musical instrument museum, or any museum, they just want to explore!)<br /> -splash pads<br /> -the local malls and outlets, they have kid play areas<br /> -the zoo (ours opens at 6am!)<br /> -the butterfly garden (indoors!)<br /> -library<br /> -local wave pool/waterpark<br /> -the pottery painting shop (with a lot of guidance)<br /> -matinee kids movies at the theaters<br /> -our city has municipal activities for toddlers and kids<br /> -we joined the local YMCA since they have childcare and a pool -any really big stores like Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's- he loves watching the fish feedings! </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/southern-bees#post-840354 Fri, 07 Jun 2013 14:57:44 +0000 T-Mom 840354@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>We are doing lots of water play and pool time. It has no deep water, it is free, and SHADY! It was amazing. We will be going back again! And you could try a My Gym or Gymboree class or something.
