I drink it way more than regular milk, and often don't have regular milk in my house. Granted, I still like real milk. And it did take a while to get used to. I started by having regular almond milk (unsweetened, no flavoring) with a decently sweet cereal and found it did the trick. Now I can happily drink it with other things. I drink soy with 12 grams of protein (plain organic) or make my own hemp. I love walnut milk (you have to make it). My favorites are Almond Breeze unsweetened and chocolate, and for everyday use I love Silk with DHA. Prefect for cereal, tea, and coffee.
