my LO (3 months) has a milk protein allergy and is on a hypoallergenic formula right now, but my pediatrician said that most babies can try a sensitive milk-based formula after 6-7 months

When lo was born, the hospital put him on soy formula because of spit up and family history. I have a hunch that he's lactose intolerant, so I've been giving him lactose free yogurt, but he's not having any issues.

Should I switch him to sensitive instead of soy formula?

He's just shy of 8mo.
