I remember it being fairly easy to get to everything I was interested in. Also, we were in Barcelona in September and the beach was nice for a few hours of relaxing. Both Madrid and Barcelona are wonderful. Madrid I would say has more to do that is classic old Europe/Spain (visiting Cathedrals, squares, eating red meat) while Barcelona is more of a cosmopolitan beach town (seafood, amazing Gaudi architecture, paella). I was thinking Spain. Something quick(5days) to see Madrid and Barcelona. No kids. </p> <p>We enjoy the hustle and bustle so don’t be alarmed with the quick days. We did London quick and enjoyed it. </p> <p>Just trying to see the touristy stuff for both major cities. </p> <p>2 days in Madrid and 3 in Barcelona? or vice versa? </p> <p>What to avoid? Must see?
