@littlejoy: you're welcome! Also google Cepillín. I find his appearance off-putting but my kids are fans. "La feria de cepillin" is pretty catchy.

Check out Putumayo Kids--they have a "Latin Dreamland" cd. Also check out Whistlefritz. Ironically, they do have "Twinkle Twinkle" on their first album but also "De Colores," "Los Pollitos," "Vengan a Ver Mi Granja" (another Music Together favorite!). Their stuff has more of an educational slant but it's very well done.

El Cri Cri is Mexico's most famous children's musician. Or -- was. The songs are a little odd for someone used to US-style kids albums, but they're nice and my kids love them. Caminito de la escuela, los cochinitos dormilones, el ratón vaquero, la patita -- i like all those although the ratón vaquero is armed ;)

Each time we do Music Together, the Spanish songs end up being our favorite ones. Any recommendations for some awesome CD's or albums to download from iTunes?

I'm wanting songs that I can understand (or at least learn relatively quickly -- DH speaks spanish, I know enough to get by), that are great for kids, and that aren't just American songs translated (does that make sense? I don't really want Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, etc.). We loved "De Colores" and "Palo Palo" from Music Together.
