@shellio: I've been thinking of reading those. I think it's good to know of any guilt inducing moments ahead of time. Thanks!

I just finished Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids and its companion Peaceful Parent, Happy Siblings. I loved both and am trying hard to implement her techniques, I do believe I am seeing a difference in my children and hope the techniques start to rub off on my husband (he has no interest in reading it). Although I think she is too hard on daycare (we don't use it but not every parent can stay home for 1+ year with their child!) and she made me feel guilty for my children being spaced close together. No need to heap on the mom guilt.

Are you reading any parenting books lately? I just started Minimalist Parenting but I've only read about one chapter. Not sure if I'll make it all the way through. Others that I've enjoyed in recent months were: Shitty Mom, Toddlers are Assholes (I sense a theme), and 1-2-3 Magic, though we actually don't use that method very much anymore, it was helpful when I had no tools! Any parenting book recommendations?
