So I'd only be going 60 in said situation. My anxiety over getting stopped is greater than my need for speed. I have been pulled over for going 9 over and in the last year I've gotten totally paranoid about having what happened to @Rainbow Sprinkles: happen to me.<br /> None of this counts for the back roads. Here the gravel roads are officially 50, but they're never patrolled and NOBODY sticks to that. If I'm the only person on the road speeding, I feel like that's a big target painted on me ;). If I'm in traffic, I keep up with the faster traffic. Then I was driving in almost this exact situation, going well over 15 over, and I got my first ever speeding ticket. On a 6 hour road trip, solo with C and our dog. 20 minutes into Colin's only nap of the day. Which woke him.
