We want the name to come from Roslin, as in Laura Roslin on Battlestar Galactica. (And as a bonus we can call her Rosie from Lord of the Rings sometimes, or likely less often, Rose from Doctor Who. So we get a three for one on the nerd front with a name we really like regardless of association.) So my first thought is Rosalyn. But I'd like to keep the 2 syllables, if possible, which would be maybe Roslyn? I don't feel super strongly about the 2 syllables, but it would sound better since the first name is 3. Except I don't love that spelling. And Rosalyn would likely get pronounced like Roslyn at least some of the time, I would think, especially since we live in the South. And it's a middle name that she wouldn't go by, so I'm overthinking it anyway. But what do you think? </p>
