My nephew was 13m when they went. I was so jealous! I'd love to spend a summer somewhere in Europe. Maybe Brussels - somewhere pretty central that has easy access to the Eurail system so I can travel around and see a lot of the continent! </p> <p>In January, they are slated to move to London for a year. Choose another place for summer, it's deathly humid and hot, worse than Seoul, and oh the mosquitoes. And it's hard to avoid the weather since most people use public transportation regularly! I imagine starting in London or (more financially feasible) a smaller city in the UK for a couple months will be less overwhelming since we all speak the language. I think it's work-related, but the move worked out personally too and she was able to bring her husband and daughter.</p> <p>I'm amazed that she was able to pull it off! Their daughter is around the same age as my son, which makes it all seem like it's within the realm of possibility. Which of course, it got me daydreaming about what cities I would want to live in with the kids for a summer. I would love to live in Paris, or maybe Tokyo. Or maybe if I'm really dreaming, one of those Tuscan villages sounds good too!</p> <p>If you could move anywhere with your family for the summer, where would you want to go? </p>
