@LibbyLou: My DH had zero counts every time. It's so hard, I'm sorry. DH had TESE and we have a beautiful son from IVF. I hope the specialist can help.

@JLC53: something crazy like that wouldn't surprise me. He's healthy, eats well, etc and also we had gotten pregnant naturally in the past. So I have two definite times where sperm wasn't zero and once (2 samples one day) where it was.
Thanks for your input!

@LibbyLou: that is very strange... I work in infertility and we had a patient a few months ago that something very similar happened to him. Although, he had a very high white blood cell count. He ended up getting referred to a specialist and they found micro organisms in his semen which ended up being a parasite. Received treatment and I believe the couple is attempting again and sperm count is back to normal... Not saying this is in your husbands case, but is something similar.

@bluestriped bee: thank you!
@mamaof2 yay that number 2 was without the heartache of IVF. I have a feeling we will be moving to ivf. Praying that it's a fluke and surgery not needed Bc DH is a little bit of a baby when it comes to him needing to get things done! :wink:

@LibbyLou: not exactly the same but DH had zero count and after a biopsy it was found that he had a blockage - had to surgery to correct it - still did IVF for #1 but #2 was on our own :happy:

Best of luck with your consult!

Just like the title says- my DH had a sperm count of 20 million last month for iui. This month we had to cancel the iui because two specimens were at zero :sad: :sad:

The RE was perplexed Bc DH isn't on any meds or testosterone and also hasn't been sick. Have any of you dealt with roller coaster of quality of samples? Final outcome or treatment?

Dh has appointment with fertility urologist next month
