I insisted on having a delivery room with the tub, but didn't end up using it, it wasn't appealing during labor for some reason.</p> <p>I lived in the tub while pregnant. They had one of those hand showers and a seat in it so that really helped with pain management. The first time was because they sent me home since I wasn't progressing enough, yet I was in a lot of pain so I thought the shower would distract me. I went into transitional labor that way. I went back to the hospital and was 5 cm!</p> <p>With #2 I did the same thing but I was in the shower for like 7 mins max. I had to get out and go to the hospital quickly because I was just progressing SO fast. Luckily we got there a little over an hour later and I was 9 cm!! I was induced, the bath was never really offered and when I got the courage to ask it was being used.</p> <p>I think this time around I will ask...
