I am definitely just surviving. I've had no complications, thank god, but am not enjoying being pregnant at all. I have felt like crap since 3 DPO (I'm not joking - went to a walk in clinic and everything) and I don't like not feeling like myself or being able to do the things I normally can do. I am 25 weeks and know my most challenging time is still around the corner! I can't wait for the end result though and keep reminding myself to keep my eye on the prize.

I was really enjoying up until last week (week 28) when my the back pain began and my hands/feet began to swell. I've been really lucky not having m/s or fatigue so up until now I didn't even feel pregnant.

I'm surviving. I am grateful to be pregnant, but I haven't felt so great. I had 2 seizures in the second trimester. Everything is just uncomfortable, and my hormones make me go from princess to bitch without warning. I'm so ready to meet our baby too. Patience has never been my strength!

I'm on the "surviving" boat also. While I am super excited to have a baby; the pregnancy hasn't been a smooth ride. Now at 37 weeks, I'm dealing with indigestion, swollen feet and overall I just feel big/fat and uncomfortable... but I'm trying to enjoy it as best as I can because it's almost over. Hang in there!

Pretty much just surviving. I love feeling LO move around, but honestly other than that...it really isn't an enjoyable experience. It's sickness and discomfort and feeling like I'm not the boss of my body at all anymore. Also, for the first time in my life I can't see my collarbone in the mirror anymore - and I feel like my face is very chubby looking, which doesnt help. I can't wait to be back in control of how I look and feel, go for a run, work out, etc. I just sort of feel like an incubator most of the time.

@Mrsdaredevil: THANK YOU for admitting that you don't really enjoy going out in public because of the way you look, because I have been feeling the same way but felt like I would be judged saying so!

I've avoided taking pictures of myself during pregnancy but my girlfriends had a bridal brunch for me today and took lots of pictures and sent them out in the afternoon, and I was shocked to see what I really look like! It put me in a funk for the rest of the day :( I'm just looking forward to being and looking like my normal self again.

I'm 22 weeks and definitely enjoying it. I had no m/s - which shocked me as my stomach doesn't handle most things well at all, so I assumed I'd be thoroughly sick. I haven't really had any pains (other than some back issues) or aversions. I have had AWFUL acne that I'm worried is going to lead to a lot of scarring on my face, but that's about the worst of it. Feeling the kicking and especially having DH feel the kicking is definitely the high point so far. I've had a bit of anxiety about things going well, but I'm hoping that will continue to dissipate.

I enjoyed (not sure that's the right word? I didn't LOVE it, but I mean, it was fine? I had no problems with it & it was pretty cool to feel lo kick) pregnancy up to week 34-ish. then I got carpal tunnel horribly & had to sleep in a recliner & was SO swollen. from that point until she was born (12 days late) & for the first 10ish days pp, I just survived. after that the water weight was gone {hallelujiah!} & I felt like a person again

At 35 weeks, I am going to have to say just surviving.
Due to several complications, I haven't been working since 20 weeks and I am so bored, it's pathetic.
I also hate the way I look pregnant, so I don't really enjoy going anywhere in public.
Props to the women who enjoy being pregnant!

Edit: I honestly think the first trimester was the best for me. Although I had horrible morning sickness and was puking for two weeks straight, I was in school full-time and working full-time, so I was super busy and didn't even have time to think about being pregnant. Also, I still looked good back then. ;)

I'm just surviving. My pregnancy (am 35 wks) has been relatively easy but I just can't wait to get back to eating healthy (sans uncontrollable cravings), working out at the intensity I'm used to, not having to deal with random aches and pains, having a drink without feeling guilty, and sleeping on my back!!! And at this point, I really really want to meet the LO!

enjoying it now! still nauseous at almost 16 weeks but I'm LOVING having my energy back! I also popped a bit this week which is super fun :) and of course, we find out what we are having today, soooo I'm definitely excited for that!

but weeks 3 (when I found out) through 15 = miserable.

Despite the fact that I suffered hyperemesis, GD and PIH, I am really enjoying my pregnancy. I will be sad that is is over in 2 weeks when I am induced. If I didn't need induction I think I would gladly go until or even past my due date. I really feel awesome, and beautiful right now!

Weeks 6-12 I was just surviving. M/s was terrible and just eating was a struggle. After that I enjoyed it and have had a pretty easy pregnancy. I just hit 35 weeks though and now I'm pretty miserable with exhaustion and crankiness, but I know a lot people have it worse so I keep reminding myself it's not THAT bad.

@mrsjyw: Yay, hope it stays that way! And hope that they stay gone forever! I can't really tell yet for the surgery. My body is going extra crazy because they cut into my neck, so that hurts, and when my neck hurts my head hurts. I think I'll know better when I'm all healed up.

Surviving right now. It's so early, so I'm sick and in perpetual twilight from sleeping ALL THE TIME, so everything feels kind of weird. I'm also knee deep in the first trimester, and no one really knows about it, so its weird to not be able to outwardly celebrate and get excited b/c its still a "secret".

The first trimester was very hard for me. every day draggged by and I just felt horrible. 2nd trimester was much better although I had to deal with round ligament pain towards the end. And now I'm in the 3rd trimester and its tough again... but I'm already starting to forget how bad the 1st tri was

@Ms.SK: the chiropractor saved my life. I went every week and finally at 30 weeks something happened and his adjustment just worked. I would recommend the massage and adjustment.
Also, alternating ice/hot pads, and prenatal yoga helped a ton. Stretching everything helped loosen it ip.
I got wonderful sciatic massages from my husband almost every night and that was wonderful.
I didn't have one at the time, but my midwife had recommended sitting on an exercise ball.

The one trick that made the transition for me in
The first tri from not walking to tolerable was pillow placement in bed. I put one or two underneath my thighs while laying on my side, it helps pull the sciatic nerve to loosen it. It worked wonders.

The last thing my midwife recommended was rolling a tennis ball along your lower back while lying on the floor (so you're on the ball).

Hopefully that helps!!

I pretty much hate being pregnant. Didn't matter the trimester (currently 33+4). And I've had a super "easy" pregnancy - no major morning sickness, complications or anything. The worst I've had is some pretty intense sciatic pain for a few weeks. So I try to keep my "I hate this" commentary to myself, especially when I'm around friends who had harder pregnancies.

I'm pretty meh about pregnancy. I had m/s in the first trimester but some some reason have always been a good throw upper so it never bothered me. (wow that makes me sound bad!). Then second trimester was a breeze. Then got my GD diagnoses which threw a wrench in things and now 34 weeks almost 35 and am just really excited to have the baby though I'm sure I will miss her being all mine!

I was enjoying until about a week ago and now I'm surviving. Like you, ready for the 2nd trimester and hoping everything feels back to normal. Nausea and exhausted is no fun, I feel like i'm falling behing on everything when I should be getting ahead! I swear I almost threw a baby book at hubby earlier, he basically yelled at me for not eating enough + eating crackers/oatmeal only when I do.
