The books say 6 hours...but I'm thinking more like 8 hours is STN for me. Or not waking up at 3am. My LO sleeps 5-6 hours but that means me getting up at 3am to feed. I got mastitis when she was a couple weeks and so I was worried about clogging and started waking her up for a middle of the night feeding. Did that till she was maybe a month and a half, maybe less then decided it was unnecessary. Then at 3.5 months he had his wakeful period that lasted about 2 weeks and then I slept trained him. And she was in her crib in her own room at 1 1/2 months, which ended up being good for her b/c she's a very light sleeper. What ended up being the final kicker was stopping the swaddle. She's a thumb sucker, so the second she was able to find her thumb, she was able to sleep through the night. I know a lot of factors can play into this...so at what age did your LO begin sleeping through the night? What did they eat (breastfed, formula, 50/50, etc)? Where did they sleep (cosleep, crib in your room, crib in their room, bassinet, etc)? Just curious to see the differences based upon all the different options. </p>
