I teach Ga Pre-K at a daycare, so she's in the building with me, 10 to 15ft away LOL, but not in my classroom.

I work at a daycare, so when we have a LO he/she will be in the same building, but not necessarily the same class because I work with the older ones.

I couldn't have, I worked in an office and there's no way it would be allowed.

I can't really think of what kind of job it would be okay to do so, unless it's your own business, like if you were a boutique clothing store owner, as an example.

My mom is a realtor and the receptionist used to bring her baby to work. It was a casual environment and the baby would just stay in the pack and play all day long. This I never understood as I could never get my LO in the pack and play for 5 seconds. So I guess it is possible.

I've taken her to work on my day off, just to visit briefly. But I definitely don't work in an environment where I can just bring her along for awhile. Even when she's older. As much as we all love kiddos here, we're dealing with serious, private mental health issues.

I could never take LO to work, I'm in an insurance agency, and I have clients in and out of my cube all day long.

My company flat out forbids this as a regular arrangement. That being said, my boss has no issue with either working from home with a child or bringing the child into work if something comes up (sick child, snow day, etc.)

No way? I have heard stories of companies that offer daycare, but I don't see that as bringing your child to work. We had a team member who worked 100% from home, but had to hire a nanny to be able to work during our normal business hours.

no definitely not. the only time he's been to my work is when i picked him up early and realized i had forgotten something at my office. he was VERY VERY loud and disruptive so he will not be back for a while. i work from home sometimes but i still have the nanny there b/c i can't watch him and work at the same time.

I saw someone comment in a work-related post that they can take their little one to work with them... just wondering if there's anyone else like that out there, and where do you work / what do you do??? I can't even work from home if RJ is home too!
