Why do people think it is any of their business and why do they think it is appropriate to comment? You can bet they didn't enjoy people butting into their child rearing decisions "back in the day". Anyway, back in the day people didn't wear seat belts and women smoked when pregnant so it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine. A lot of "back in the day..." type comments. </p> <p>At least for now I can say that the recommendations are until 2, but we plan to keep him rear facing until he hits the 40lb mark, so I know we'll be dealing with these types of comments even more when we get to 2/3 years! </p>
