I used to get them a ton when I was a kid, always in the middle of the night. I would wake up to feel the blood running out of my nose and my pillow cases would always have small bloodstains on them. Same with my brothers! As an adult, I get them very rarely. I've had my nose cauterized actually to prevent nosebleeds. It seriously has to be one of the most painful things ever.
