My maiden initials were ASH (also the first three letters of my first name...very clever, mom and dad!). My husband was always disappointed that he didn't get his father's middle name and his SPY initials. </p> <p>So, we're probably going to end up paying attention to our kids' initials a good deal, since we have the unique Y to play with. They're RHT. </p> <p>DH got our dog way before I came along, He came with the name Teddy (he's a rescue) and DH's last name starts with a T. He's a science teacher so he says his favorite element is Copper because it's symbol is CU. He used to tell me that all his kids would have elements for initials and sure enough LO is AU which is gold! He calls her his Golden Girl. As if that wasn't dorky enough, she's actually AMU (Atomic Mass Unit).<br /> If we'd had a boy, he would be OSU for Ohio State University where DH went.<br /> On the flipside, I was JAG because my dad loved cars and figured it would be the only way he'd ever own a jag (jaguar).</p> <p>Anyone else have initial stories? </p>
