He didn't like what his results were, so he started eating healthy and working out (which happened to coincide with me having morning sickness) so we both ate less and I cooked less. I was so sick the first trimester I lost 12 lbs but he gained 15 lbs. Before morning sickness, we'd usually cook healthy meals. Obviously I wasn't cooking when I was sick, so he ate out a lot and didn't pay close attention to portion sizes. Besides the weight gain he had random cravings, trouble sleeping at night and aches and pains in his back!! It was absolutely hilarious and we laughed about it all the time. I'm not even sure it was true sympathy weight. I just didn't watch my diet as much as I have been doing lately. Still, it's nice to blame my wife's pregnancy for my lack of willpower haha!</p> <p>I've been working hard to change my diet though, and have lost 7 pounds of the weight.
