I personally only have my security blanket {worn threadbare & in my cedar chest}, some stuffed animals that my great-grandmother made for me, & those little porcelain josef figurines {http://www.etsy.com/listing/44189468/vintage-josef-originals-birthday-angel}. I won't be passing on my blanket, I don't think it would stand up, but I'll pass down the stuffed animals & the figurines for sure. And lord only knows what my mom has squirreled away, ha! I've got to admit, I am kind of looking forward to the nostalgia, though.

I have a lot of books from when I was little and all the Christmas ornaments I was given/made myself in school. Last spring, my mother-in-law gave us some beautifully framed pieces of "art" my husband made when he was a kid. Um, thanks?

My parents have a ton of stuff saved from when all four of us kids were little (books, dolls, notebooks I wrote in, etc.), but they live in Texas and I live in Illinois, so it comes to us in bits and pieces when they're making a trip up and have extra room!

At my parents house is my baby book, a blanket that I used to take everywhere with me and a few things from school (elementary and high school). I donated most of my dresses a couple of years ago to a program that provides girls in low income families with prom dresses at no cost.

My mom saved all the school-art stuff and toys. I have t baby blankets at home (my blankies!), and just recently took several boxes of my childhood books and a handful of treasured stuffed animals.

Not really, except my baby blanket and pictures. We moved around a lot when I was younger. Hubby has a baby spoon that looks like it's never been used. He refused to let me use it on our babe b/c he thought it had lead or something. He also has a crazy dangerous rocking horse with rusty springs. I don't think anyone should ever use that again.

Weird as it may seem, I wished my mom saved papers/art/school projects. Oh and the toys.

Is that apple big, like sit it on the floor big?

I have a turtle I got for my 1st Christmas. I'm 30, so it's quite old.LOL I saved it for my daughter. It's big enough for a 1yr old to sit on.

I have quite a few things. Mostly in my parents storage. When I was pregnant my dad found all sorts of things in storage, like an old wooden toy crib and dolls.

I have a box of books, a couple baby blankets, one stuffed animal, and one or two baby dresses. They are all in the closet in the future nursery. I'm going to try to incorporate some of it into the nursery when we get pregnant. I know that I want to keep all of the books, but I'm not sure about the rest.

I think my parents have some random things, but I don't have anything in our house. DH has a lot of stuff from when he was a kid (only child), ILs kept everything and transported a lot of his stuff (toys, high chair, etc.) to our basement when we moved in.

I am so sad that I don't have a single thing from my childhood or even high school. I decided that I will save things for my LO for when she grows up. My in-laws bought a newspaper the day LO was born and I'm keeping it tucked away wrapped and safe to show LO what was going on in the world when she is much older.

My mom is incapable of getting rid of anything, so I suspect that a ton of my childhood toys and clothes are still sitting around the house. I'll be home later this month for our baby shower, so I'm going to take that opportunity to rescue some of the things that might now be useful for our baby.

I currently have my old cabbage patch doll sleeping in our LO's crib until s/he arrives. I take it out once in a while to show the dogs and tell them to be gentle with the baby. My mom also just told me that she has (accidentally) tracked down the big blue pram she had for my sister and I when we were babies. I can't wait to see it, I hope it's still in decent shape.

@jessiejo17: Ha this was exactly what I was going to reply. my parents are always trying to get me to take my keepsakes box... but I always tell them I'll just throw it away if they give it to me now since we don't have much storage at our house. So they just keep it.. :)

My parents have my tub at their house still, however htey have been trying to get me to take it for awhile. Mostly of elementary school projects, HS awards, that kind of thing. Not so much toys however I wish they would have kept some of my dolls/ect.

My husband and I both have a tub of items from our childhood. I kept a couple of Cabbage Patch Kids, my Shirley Temple doll, an apple that is sort of like a rattle except it has a bell in it and some jackets from high school and college. I also saved all of my prom and homecoming dresses.

Do you have anything from your childhood?
