I say this like it's a secret, lol. But really, some of them do not have cute kids. Are their kids precious and cuddly? Of course! But not what I'd consider attractive kids. I agree that it's in the eye of the beholder. </p> <p>FI and I did one of those combining pictures of the two of us and MAN that potential future kid was just AWFUL looking. And it looked nothing like either of us. I know those things are just jokes but we were a bit apprehensive for a minute.</p> <p>My Mom and I always laugh because I say ALL babies are less-than-stellar looking for the first few weeks and particularly after birth - just the color is off, the faces may be squished. I told my mom if someone tells me my kid is cute and it's not, I'll probably side-eye them. Lol. I'm a bit overly realistic I guess. Some parents know and some don't... I definitely didn't think my baby was the cutest of the crop when she popped out. She had eczema and it wasn't pretty. Of course, my husband would say, "she's the cutest baby EVER!!" and I would just roll my eyes... haha, don't get me wrong.... But as I got to know and bond with them, they started getting cuter to me. But they definitely weren't THE cutest babies. I think as they got older, they became more objectively cute.
