I had my first nurse appt at 6 weeks then my first dr appt at 8. I'll have one visit every 4 weeks until 28-30 weeks (it'll be 28 or 29 for me). Then I'll have one every 2 weeks until 36 weeks. Then weekly until birth. First visit at 8 weeks. Every 4 weeks until about 32 weeks. Then every 2 weeks until 38 weeks, then every week. But just keep in mind that there might be some unplanned visits, just in case something goes wrong. Although it seems that some doctors/insurance only charge a one-time copay at the first doctor's visit, it seems that our insurance charges a co-pay for each visit. So, I am wondering, how many visits are there total? I generally understand that there are few in the beginning and middle, and then more frequent appointments required near the end... but how many total? </p>
