My aunt gave me a stray, who turned out to be pregnant (I found that out when I took her in to be spayed!). For awhile, I had 6 cats in my 1 bedroom apartment. My aunt took the momma cat back, my mom took one of the kittens, I kept 1 and found homes for the other 4.</p> <p>My childhood kitty died just shy of 19 years old (two years ago). That was a tough one. They are already buddies, even though the kitten does tend to bother her sometimes and bites her tail, hee! They are technically a week apart in age, we adoted them from the humane society and they were "roommates". They aren't from the same litter, they were both strays found outside and they have been best buddies ever since! :-)</p> <p>My mom had a cat that lived to be 18!! I hope my 2 live to be that old :-) </p>
