Now when we go to weddings I'll usually wear heels but for the first few years I wore flats-- not even shoes with a 0.5 inch heel like a loafer!</p> <p>Rob Sr. has always been short (and so is his brother) so he got over that insecurity very early in life. Well, I'm 5' 6" and Rob Sr. is 5' 7". So he's just barely an inch taller, but my shoes are almost always higher than his so we're always about the same height. It was a huge issue for my mom, who has a big complex about height, until she met him... then she never mentioned it again until after we got married. Then she said "I've heard of men who have growth spurts at 25" (we were 24 at the time)!
