My rings went on when I got home from the hospital and actually seem a little looser now. My wedding ring fits, but not my ering. It was cold for about 2 days here this winter, and I was able to put it on then, but right when the heat came back so did my fat fingers. At 9 days pp, my rings fit again, but a little snuggly.<br /> My shoes fit the whole time--except after all the IV fluids at the hospital. For a week I just wore socks--even to walk out of the hospital, Now shoes fit again (10 days pp).</p> <p>FWIW: I gained 44 pounds and have lost 24 lbs, 19 to go! I had the crazy, can-make-a-thumbprint-in-my-skin, swelling. I went up a shoe size and apparently went up a half-size in my ring size.<br /> I was told at the jeweler that if I had swelling in my hands and feet that ring and shoe size generally doesn't go back to normal after losing the baby weight.<br /> I'm 10lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight and 15lbs from my skinny weight at 6 months postpartum, still breastfeeding.<br /> I just gave in and had my rings sent to be resized two days ago... :/ </p>
