My husband sent me for a massage and made a really nice lunch and dinner. A lot of my friends sent me cards too, which was very sweet.</p> <p>I had LO in May so I was expecting her any day. I needed that mothers day celebration a lot more last year than I do this year. This year I don't really care all that much as long as hubby gives me a big kiss and tells me I'm a good mommy. Even though I was very pregnant, I just felt like it was something to wait for until I was REALLY a mom. For yourself and your partner, obviously.</p> <p>I was joking with DH the other day about how he's going to have to brainstorm for next year (LO will be about 7 months) because he's never really celebrated it before (aside from being an add-on with my parents!). </p> <p>His response was that he had to come up with something *this* year - and I said he didn't, but he said I'm still a Mom.</p> <p>So...I don't know his plan (or if he'll end up doing anything) - but did anyone celebrate their DH before LO was born? I'm not sure what to do! </p>
