We really enjoy each others friends, and are both supportive of each others hobbies and allowing free time to explore them. DH is in finance so he budgets everything to the penny -- which works for me because I never want that holy-crap-how-much-did-I-spend feeling. I keep him realistic with the amounts allotted toward each category and he tracks it and pays the bills.
