I used almost nothing that I packed, but we were only there for 36 hrs, so I might have used more if I had stayed longer?

The things I had that were clutch:

Chapstick (biggest must have!)
My water bottle
Snacks (trail mix, granola bars, crackers...)
Shampoo/conditioner/body wash
Nightgown and robe
Comfy warm socks
Flip flops
Makeup
Hairbrush/elastics/bobby pins
Bobby (I didn't use it for baby, but it made sitting in the rocker possible for my lady bits. I was desperate to get out of bed!)

@mrskc had a great suggestion to bring towels! DH and I had to use the hospital ones which were thin and the size of hand towels!

@grizz: I didn't bring a breast pump. Didn't even have one yet. Our hospital had ones you could use during your stay.

What I didn't bring but had DH go out to get were face wipes. I had 47 hours of labor and then an emergency c-section. I didn't shower for almost four days and felt like a dirty cow.
What I did bring but didn't use were nursing tanks. I wore the hospital gown the whole time.

Did anyone bring their breast pump? One of my friends brought hers because she really didn't want pitocin and it was the only thing keeping her contractions going.

We were admitted Sunday night, baby delivered early Monday morning, we left late Tuesday afternoon.

I used two sets of clothes (wore one outfit all day Monday, and then a new outfit Tuesday)- yoga pants, nursing tank top, button down
Slippers
Flip flops
Snacks (cliff bars)
toiletries- including stuff for a shower
makeup- I put some on on Tuesday- it helped me feel a little better about myself with all the visitors coming by
camera
ipad mini
going home outfit for baby

I only used pillows for BFing, camera, and going home clothes for me and LO. And most importantly snacks. My husband didn't want to leave to get food once LO was born so we were splitting terrible hospital meals. I may have used my toothbrush but I know the hospital provided one.

I had a labor bag with all sorts of hospital recommended labor things but it was accidentally left in the car. Nothing in the bag was worth sending my husband out to the car.

I used hardly anything I packed!

What I wish I had was a pair of indoor shoes/slippers for DH, we were in the hospital in a snow storm, and it would have been nice if he would have had something to put on his feet when he took off his snow boots.

What I used:
toiletries like shampoo, face wash, body wash
hairbrush, hair ties
toothbrush & toothpaste
lotion
chapstick
towel (I really loved having my own towel after I showered)
4 pillows from home (used all of them & DH used them too)
flip flops (wore in shower and around hospital room)
night gown
nipple cream
phone
charger
camera (DSLR & point and shoot)
snacks like granola bars & apples
for baby: going home outfit & A+A swaddle blanket

What I didn't use:
baby book
yoga pants, nursing tanks (I just wore the hospital gown and my night gown home)
my own undies (wore mesh ones home)
makeup

What I wish I had brought: Hair dryer, but I hate the way my hair air dries. I wish I would have just brought my hair dryer so my hair didn't have to look like a hot mess.

What I used (I was there for 4 days, with an unplanned c-section.)

yoga pants/maternity leggings

I packed way too much and didn't need it (Makeup, hairdryer, random clothing that was too tight across my belly, boppy pillow -- uncomfortable around my stomach, books, magazines, ect. never had time to use them)

Baby:
