I was desperate to get out of bed!)</p> <p>@mrskc had a great suggestion to bring towels! I had 47 hours of labor and then an emergency c-section. I didn't shower for almost four days and felt like a dirty cow.<br /> What I did bring but didn't use were nursing tanks. And most importantly snacks. My husband didn't want to leave to get food once LO was born so we were splitting terrible hospital meals. I may have used my toothbrush but I know the hospital provided one.</p> <p>I had a labor bag with all sorts of hospital recommended labor things but it was accidentally left in the car.
