He was a senior and too serious for me at the time, so we broke it off and saw other people for a while, though I never had an "official" boyfriend. My first actual declared boyfriend was now-DH again when I was a senior, but we didn't actually call each other boyfriend or girlfriend until I was in college. I remember arranging a "date" when I was 15 and the guy picked me up at my friend's house. I say "date" because basically we talked at a restaurant for a while and then drove around and made out (classy, I know). I never really went on proper dates, though. It was mostly all hanging out as a group stuff, and with my boyfriend senior year we'd just meet up at different places or sneak out of the house at night (I wasn't the best child, I admit). I went on two dates in college. I had my first "boyfriend" if you could call it then when I was a freshman in high school. I just dated him because I wanted to know what it was like to have a boyfriend. Then I had my first actual boyfriend when I was a sophomore. He was a good family friend and neighbor, so our parents weren't excited about it at all because they knew it was a stupid high school relationship and we'd just end up breaking up and they were scared it would affect our family's relationship. They were wrong though.
